And only because of this...

On a stroke of bad news, I have not completed my schoolwork, and I'm falling behind more and more as we speak. And it's because of the following worse news that I can barely find the ability to continue.

My sixteen year-old miniature dachshund has been put down today. It was for the best, as he became terribly ill for so many different reasons that putting him through getting him as cured as possible would not have been the best thing to do. However, it still doesn't keep me from being upset.

I haven't really known life without this dog around me, as he was about my age. I'm still trying to comprehend that the last time I saw him was watching him go to the vet yesterday. I didn't think that he wouldn't be coming back.

This is possibly the worst week of my life so far. I can't even focus on anything...I don't think there will be any real updates from me for a little while.

R.I.P. Howie. Miss you lots.
