Having never received a proper education, Marzipan is really not the brightest crayon in the box. She has grabbed Krabbies by the claws and made them dance, and to this day she still can't tell left from right. And although her strongest knowledge lies in her sewing, she's still expected to start sewing her own ears onto something sooner or later. Some even expect her to start siding with the wrong people, seeing as she can barely tell good from bad. It's almost terrifying...
History:
Marzipan grew up in the Sei'an City, living a pretty sheltered life. Her parents, although fairly wealthy, always feared for her safety. They thought of the unfriendly Pokemon in the world who would use her specifically to get money, and didn't want her getting involved in it. Therefore they kept her inside for most of her life.
That said, keeping her inside was a pain in the patoot, seeing as how this Buneary was incredibly energetic and curious. Not that she wanted to see the world or anything, it was just that she really just...wanted to run. And jump. And play. All normal things, but not so easy to deal with.
Her parents attempted to teach her their ideals and basic knowledge themselves, but she lacked the attention span to absorb any of the knowledge. She would always seem to need something for her fidgety hands to do to pay attention to the smallest things, therefore her parents devised teaching her how to draw.
She liked chewing on the pencils more than she liked drawing...
So they tried teaching her to sew.
It worked after she found she couldn't really /eat/ needles. It was perfect, and gave her hands something to do. After a few unfortunate pricks, and sewing bedsheets to fabric, Marzipan fell in love with this hobby and evolved into Lopunny. She became so excited with her new look, she began sewing together a new sweater to celebrate the occasion. To this day, she still wears it.
But the time came for her to make something of herself. She had to somehow convince her parents that she was ready to leave the nest and find a place to make her only skill useful. It was not easy, but they allowed her to travel to a new civilization.
That is, after shelling out the money for an escort...
